The Oakmark Funds are available for purchase by residents of the U.S., the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Guam only.
Minimum Initial Investments
To purchase shares, the following investment minimums apply:
*The Automatic Investment or Payroll Deduction Plan may be terminated at the shareowner's discretion once the account has met the $1,000.
You can purchase shares in one of the following ways:
Your transaction will be processed at the net asset value as of the close of business on the day your request is received. However, if your request is received after 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time or when the Fund is not open for business, your transaction will be processed as of the next day the Fund is open. The Oakmark Funds have the same trading hours and holiday schedule as the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The Oakmark Units (money market fund) have the same trading hours and holiday schedule as the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) which may differ from those of the NYSE.
Opening a new account:
PLEASE NOTE: The Funds do not accept cash, travelers checks, credit card convenience checks, starter checks, checks made payable to a party other than the Oakmark Funds, checks drawn on banks outside of the U.S. or purchase orders specifying a particular purchase date or price per share.

Please note that the Oakmark International Small Cap Fund imposes a 2% redemption fee on shares redeemed within 90 days of purchase.
We require a Medallion Signature Guarantee if the redemption proceeds are to be sent to the address on file that has changed within the last 30 days, made payable or mailed to someone other than the account owner(s), or sent to a bank account that is not on file.
Receiving Redemption Proceeds:
For check and ACH purchases, redemption proceeds will be withheld for up to 10 days after the date of purchase. After 10 days, the following timeframes apply:
An exchange transaction is a redemption of shares in one Fund and a simultaneous purchase of shares in another Fund that, for tax purposes, may result in a capital gain or loss. An exchange may result in a 2% redemption fee imposed on shares redeemed within 90 days of purchase of the Oakmark International Small Cap Fund.
