Oakmark Funds Add Two New Share Classes
November 30, 2016
The Oakmark Funds are pleased to introduce two new share classes—the Advisor class and the Institutional class. In addition, the current Class I shares of the Oakmark Funds have been re-named Investor shares and the current Class II shares have been re-named Service shares.
Minimums: The new share classes are designed to appeal to direct shareholders who have an account value with a Fund that equals or exceeds certain thresholds—$100,000 for the Advisor class and $1 million for the Institutional class.
We anticipate that the expense ratio for each Fund’s Advisor and Institutional classes will be less than the current Investor class (Class I).
The tickers for each share class within the seven Funds are as listed in the below table:
||Investor (Class I)
||Service (Class II)
|Oakmark Select Fund
|Oakmark Equity & Income Fund
|Oakmark Global Fund
|Oakmark Global Select Fund
|Oakmark International Fund
|Oakmark International Small Cap Fund
We will continue to release information on the new share classes as it becomes available. If you have additional questions in the meantime, or would like assistance in converting your eligible direct shares into the applicable new class, please call an Oakmark Investor Services representative at 1-800-OAKMARK (625-6275).
